We
now have available some of the larger Sharp modules (150W plus)
-- or with short lead times. Call or email

Many manufacturers have raised their large solar module (120W+ )
prices as much
as 15 to 20% for their U.S. dealers and distributors. Most of the
popular
larger modules are gone or with lengthy (3 month plus) lead times.
Why?
Germany is the main reason. Photovoltaic manufacturers can get a 30 to
35%
premium for these products there -- and the EURO is kicking the U.S.
dollar's
butt right now....so most of the American manufacturer's products are
going to
Germany. Italy is now working on some very nice subsidy programs, and
Spain and
parts of South America will soon be demanding more modules vis a vis
similar
programs of their own.
So, most modules are now being diverted to the Old World, since our own
federal
government still refuses to do much for the PV industry here at home. BP,
Kyocera and Shell Solar products are largely being shipped elsewhere.
And since
Europeans are willing to pay a premium price for what Americans are not,
they
will get the best larger products and we will get the rest...at least,
for the
time being. Ultimately we hope that our American people
will see the real value of this
incredible technology.
While we endeavor to keep our pricing current, due to the international
demand
of solar modules, pricing and availability is varying on a week-to-week
basis.
